Coppell is a vibrant community located in the heart of the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area. Coppell has received such accolades as a top ten ranking on the “Best Place to Live in North Texas” list published by “D” Magazine. Much of this recognition comes from the Coppell ISD and Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD that serve the children of Coppell. Coppell ISD has 14 schools and an enrollment of more than 8,500. Of these students, 90% go on to a post-secondary education. The city has much to offer its residents. Along with its close proximity to DF/W International Airport, there are great shopping opportunities at nearby Grapevine Mills mall and Vista Ridge Mall in Lewisville. For those interested in sports and outdoors, Coppell offers a public golf course along with fishing, boating, and water sports at Lake Lewisville and Lake Grapeview. Coppell also boasts a 116-acre park system. Other city features include a community garden, a Saturday farmer’s market in Old Town Coppell from May through October and a Keep Coppell Beautiful association.
